MCLAREN (Lewis Hamilton 1, Jenson Button 2)
Hamilton's first win of the season and McLaren's third lifted the team to the top of the constructors' standings by a point. Also McLaren's second one-two of 2010 and Hamilton's 12th career win. Hamilton made a slow start and was passed by Vettel before getting back into second place. He and Button cashed in when the Red Bulls collided. Button moved up to second overall, Hamilton third.
RED BULL (Mark Webber 3, Sebastian Vettel retired)
Webber led from pole until lap 40, when he and Vettel collided. Vettel retired on the spot while Webber went off before rejoining in third. The Australian stretched his overall lead to five points. Vettel dropped from being level with Webber to fifth place overall.
FERRARI (Felipe Massa 7, Fernando Alonso 8)
Ferrari started their 800th grand prix with muted expectations and came away with just 10 points. Alonso slipped from third overall to fourth and Massa from fifth to seventh.
MERCEDES (Michael Schumacher 4, Nico Rosberg 5)
Schumacher equalled his best result of the season but was 31 seconds behind Hamilton at the chequered flag.
RENAULT (Robert Kubica 6, Vitaly Petrov 15)
Kubica was stuck behind the Mercedes duo. Petrov was classified 15th but retired with a puncture after making contact with Alonso's Ferrari in a battle for eighth place. The Russian still set the fastest lap of the race.
FORCE INDIA (Adrian Sutil 9, Vitantonio Liuzzi 13)
Sutil had his fourth scoring finish of the season after losing two positions at the pitstop after a slight delay in changing the front right tyre. Liuzzi struggled for grip.
WILLIAMS (Rubens Barrichello 14, Nico Hulkenberg 17)
Poor starts scuppered Williams' chances. Barrichello dropped from 15th to 20th due to a clutch problem and then had a throttle control issue. Hulkenberg had a front puncture on lap one and then had to fight from 23rd place.
TORO ROSSO (Jaime Alguersuari 12, Sebastien Buemi 16)
Alguersuari made two stops. Buemi collided with Hulkenberg on the opening lap, puncturing the tyre and forcing him to pit. He then raced with a damaged floor.
SAUBER (Kamui Kobayashi 10, Pedro de la Rosa 11)
Kobayashi bagged Sauber's first point of the season. He pitted after 10 laps on softer tyres, driving the rest of the race on the harder set and wearing the front right down to the canvas. De la Rosa opted for caution at the end to ensure Kobayashi scored the point.
LOTUS (Heikki Kovalainen and Jarno Trulli retired)
Both drivers suffered hydraulics failures on laps 32 and 33, with Kovalainen stopping on the track and Trulli retiring in the pits. The Malaysian-owned team still hailed it as their strongest performance of the year.
HRT (Karun Chandhok 20, Bruno Senna retired)
Senna retired on lap 47 with a fuel system problem. Chandhok suffered a fuel pump failure early on and then stopped in the pits five laps from the end.
VIRGIN (Timo Glock 18, Lucas di Grassi 19)
Virgin ended the day as best of the new teams. Di Grassi started from the pitlane after an oil leak. Glock had low hydraulic pressure five laps from the end but fought on with only fifth gear.
